Fairfields recognise the importance of recruiting engineering graduates and has successfully recruited a number of Graduate Design Engineers who continue to contribute to our projects and contracts. Fairfields support staff in their continued personal and professional development and graduates are no exception, as many of our staff work towards their Masters and Chartered Engineer status with support from Fairfields.

We understand that graduates have good technical and theoretical knowledge of control systems and their applications but will not have had the opportunity to put this knowledge into physical practice. By initially pairing graduates up with a Lead Engineer to work through larger projects from concept through to design, commissioning and installation, they are given the confidence and exposure to work independently as they progress through the business.
