Sluice Gate Refurbishment at Haven House

Onsite at one of our current contracts, working for valued client AMCO Giffen on behalf of the Environment Agency at Haven House, Lincs.

FES has been involved with this scheme for some time, investigating possible functional improvements to this site to overcome access challenges. It is great to now be onsite beginning the strip out of the existing gate equipment for inspection and reporting to allow refurbishment.

The full scope of work comprises the dismantle of the sluice gates, prior to the installation of refurbished gates and counterweight as well as a new mechanical drive system.

Thankfully this was carried out before the current rains arrived!

Concurrently we are working on the E,C & I upgrade and the design and manufacture is currently underway, ready for site installation. All works are expected to be completed in early December.
