Lincoln UTC visit to forge a new partnership

Fairfields paid a visit to Lincoln UTC’s new home this week. The new building and purpose built engineering suite are stunning, fully equipped with the same kit our engineers use every day.

The college’s vision is to develop the next generation of scientists and engineers by offering students aged 14-18 a high quality technical education, combined with core studies (maths, English etc.) which then then provides employers with skilled young people. We are working closely with the college by offering placements to students, providing course specific presentations and hopefully taking on high quality apprentices from the college once they graduate, where they will continue to learn and develop their skills and interest in electrical engineering.

We are looking forward to a long period of collaborative working with Lincoln UTC.
