Emma Roberts interviewed on BBC Radio Nottingham

One of our Design Engineers, Emma Roberts, was interviewed today on BBC Radio Nottingham about her experiences as an Apprentice. Emma recently completed her apprenticeship with Fairfields and achieved a distinction in her HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Lincoln College. She has now enrolled at Sheffield Hallam University to study for a degree in the same field, all sponsored by Fairfields.

Emma was also awarded the Unilever Higher Apprentice of the Year for the East Midlands in 2014. She was the stand out nominee in her category and has gone on to be a great ambassador for Fairfields and apprenticeships by being featured on the BBC’s East Midlands Today programme and as part of the ‘Business in Great Britain’ campaign to name but two.
