The Role
Key Purpose: Planned and reactive maintenance of Instrumentation Control and Automation (ICA) Solutions
As a valued member of our team, your role will be pivotal in guaranteeing the seamless operation and upkeep of the Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) systems for water control and flood defence assets such as pumping Stations, sluice gates and level monitoring outstations. Your primary responsibilities will include planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and involvement in minor projects, such as PLC & HMI upgrades. Furthermore, you will be an integral part of our on-call support team, ensuring swift responses to critical issues as they arise.
The Candidate
Qualifications/Experience:
- HNC/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent
- 3 Years experience as a Maintenance Technician or equivalent
- PLC & HMI Fault finding
- SMSTS (training can be provided)
Must be able to demonstrate:
- Practical problem solver
- Customer-facing with good communication skills
- Confident and able to work autonomously & as part of a team
- High motivation and discipline
- Hold a full driving licence
- Eligible and authorised to work in the UK (with relevant visas in place where required)
