Placement Student


    Placement description

    Applicants should be working towards an Engineering honours degree. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of Electrical, Electronic, Control and Programmable Electronic Engineering.

    You will gain a knowledge of; PLC systems both hardware and software, SCADA, databases,  C++ and VB programming, variable speed drives and closed loop control, CAD system testing and commissioning.

    To complement systems engineering, good verbal and written communications skills are required along with an ability to operate with independence and flair. You will be part of a project team and contribute to the specification, design, supervision of manufacture and installation, testing and commissioning, client training and on going support.

    We are located in a rural village on the edge of Sherwood Forrest in North Nottinghamshire. You will work from our head office but from time to time will be expected to work on clients sites in the UK and world wide. When on the client’s site you could be alongside water; working at height; in tunnels or confined spaces; working on industrial or pharmaceutical plants.


    Essential Requirements

    You will be expected have a full driving license.
