Fairfields Awarded Environment Agency Midlands & Anglia MEICA Framework

Fairfield Control Systems is proud to have been awarded the Environment Agency’s (EA) Midlands and Anglia regions MEICA Framework contract to deliver Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) Services.

The four year framework contract delivers the following services for sites in the Midlands and Anglia regions:

The contract includes routine maintenance and support for in excess of 1000 individual assets on over 500 of the EA’s Flood alleviation, level control and monitoring sites. In addition, Fairfields will continue to provide system replacements and refurbishments along with improvements, upgrades and equipment obsolescence management.

Fairfield’s Managing Director, Michael Doney, said:

Fairfields has over 25 years’ experience of working in the waterways sector. Our dedicated Service Department is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the framework with support from our Project Teams as required.

“Securing this framework for a third term is great news for the company and especially our Service Team, who have been responsible for the maintenance of the Environment Agency’s assets for many years. We can now continue to provide the high standard of service for many more years to come.

The Service Team is committed to delivering the highest levels of service and understands the importance of reacting quickly to some of the country’s most important flood defence systems.

The main difference for this framework is the way we are reporting data back to the EA. We will be working with them to streamline the reporting systems making it more effective and efficient for us and for them”.
